the best kind of mood {slate blue}

I don't quite get why "moody" has such a negative connotation - as that is the first word that comes to mind when I think of the stunning combination created from cool slate blue and warm wood. This color profile draws me in deeply and always leaves me craving more and more...

I love this color. I wanted a cool set of arm chairs but haven't found the right ones yet, so I compromised with pillows for a pop of color. Great inspiration.

Beautiful! I've had an urge lately to switch from a sort of maroon shade to teal. If my mom lived nearby I'd make her sew me pillowcases. Instead I will probably pop over to the Cost Plus one of these days to see if anything there scratches the itch at a reasonable price point. (eyeing stuff online in the meantime just in case!)
