another new {british} love

So, this is the second British company that I have fallen for in the past week-Cox & Cox. They have the most amazing, unique and adorable products. If I posted all the products I loved the list would be endless! Here are just a few of their products that express how much I "heart" this company:

(brown sugar hearts)
Link
(vintage fabric lavender heart)

(zinc heart and chandelier place tags)

harrington + squires

From my series of london calling posts I don't think it is any secret that one of my great desires is to visit England and that I love any and all things from London! Well I need to add a visit to Harrigton+Squires on my wish list for this dream trip. And this is why:

Isn't it a brilliant idea to make a perforated calendar (you can tear off each day!) I just adore it as I do the overall design.

Some of the cutest hankies and hankie packaging I have ever seen.

Very cheeky and colorful memory matchbooks.

London Calling: Daysford Organic

My imaginary trip to London would not be complete without mention of some adorable cafe and as luck with have it I just stumbled upon Dayslford Organic over at {Frolic}. They have many organic cafes and store locations around the city-all equally charming and unique! They even have their own creamery that boasts award winning aged cheddar.

If you, like me, cannot get to London and visit the stores in person you can try one of their many recipes online-the pumpkin & chestnut soup with truffles sounds amazing!

17th Century Suffolk

So today I venture outside of London to Suffolk where I found the most beautiful 17th century timber frame home (via Living Etc.). It has the most beautiful brick and tile floor and charming crooked walls. It is also one of the only homes I have seen where crumbling walls are desirable! They did a fantastic job adding modern accessories in a way that doesn't distract from the traditional style of the home.

London Calling: Lustworty Living Room

I saw this beautiful room on Design*Sponge and instantly was drawn right in. This London living room of Abigail Ahern, designer and stylist, is just gorgeous and so welcoming. The windows and moldings are everything I imagine in a London living space! I also just love the calm slate walls with the dark natural wood floor. And how cool is the art above the mantle? It is a old sign that she flipped to expose the rust on the back--beauty really can be found anywhere!

London Calling: Get out the Crayons

For the past few weeks I have been dying to go to London! Now, I have never been to Europe for good reason--being in a plane for more than a couple of hours (at all really) is horrifying to me! So, in order to avoid an anxiety attack, at least for now, I am going to take a my blog to international for a few posts and see how it goes. Today is about an very cool London based company called Mini Moderns--created in 2004 out of the need for more inspiring and modern children's decor. Their line of products became even more amazing when they recently introduced "colour me" wallpapers. Yes, they it is actually wallpaper and a coloring book in one! The two patterns they currently produce:

So embrace your inner child and get out your pencils, felt tip markers or crayons and start doodling!
