I have been trying to resist posting about Christmas but today the air outside is just so crisp and snow is glistening on the mountains perfectly that I just could not hold off any longer. However, it really is about time to order your holiday cards. I am especially fond of these cards from Kate Spade. They are festive and just a little bit cheeky!

I think I will end up making my own cards this year but one of these would definitely be my choice if I don't have time. What is your Holiday Card tradition? Do you make your own? I would love to know!

Pistachio Press

One of my favorite qualities in letterpress (well really anything!) is whimsy and this calendar from pistachio press is that incarnate. I was just about to buy a standard calender of landscape photos from the grocery store out of necessity but I think I can hold off until this one arrives in the mail. I love finding fun items that I actually NEED!

Journaling...

...is something I have been doing quite a bit of lately. However, I have been doing it Carrie Bradshaw style which makes for a very large word document that much to my dismay is not transportable. I tend to want to write and have the most "profound" thoughts at random times so I thought it would be worth investing in portable traditional version. I really love these handmade journals from Cake + Milk Paperie made from kraft moleskin. My favorite has seals on the front! The best part is that they are completely "green".

Better get my pencils sharpened!

Letterpress Art

I was just picking up some new cocktail napkins at Paper & Grace, a local stationary and gift store, and was very intrigued by the whimsical prints they had behind the cash register. I was even more intrigued when I learned that they were letterpress prints. The prints were from a company called Old School Stationers, a small letterpress studio in Seattle. In addition to the 8" x 8" prints they also sell adorable letterpress cards. The prints use great colors and would be great in a bathroom, kids room or a bedroom.

Three Little Pigs

I couldn't help but smile when I came across these new die cut pig tags from Linda & Harriett.

I hope they make you smile too! ($6 for a pack of three pig tags)
