Thanks to the mirepoix and herbs in last nights chicken pot pie concoction, my kitchen smelled exactly like Thanksgiving this morning! And then I realized that it is less than three weeks away. Eeek! How did that happen? Which means I need to get cracking on my tabletop decor. So of course I started a new pinterest board just for holiday decor. I have a few DIY projects in mind but at the moment I am thinking of a washed out palette, maybe a little bit of plaid and simple leather accents. Perhaps, something a little bit like this...

I have to say I can't get over the leather napkin "rings". It brings the perfect masculine touch to the table.

That is so lovely - I love the exposed wood on the table with just the rustic runner & the leather napking rings - they add a real solid feel to the setting.
