spring in your step

One of my favorite ways to breathe life into a room is not with paint but with a beautifully colored or patterned rug. They can easily be moved from room to room and require much less commitment than paint. These are my favorite picks for ones that will freshen up your home and surely add a spring to your step...

Also, I hope that you will check out my favorite pieces that embrace the current dip-dyed trend over on Chicago Home + Garden's blog, Design Dose.

I am having a rug conundrum right now. Trying to decide to go with pattern/geometric or cowhide in my living room. I really like your picks.
I stumbled upon your blog down the rabbit hole of others-I recently started a blog on interiors (also in Chicago!). I love the pics in your posts, which now I'm following via email. Looking forward to knowing you better through your posts!

I really like those orange and tan rugs. I usually am not a rug person but I guess for my simplistic, modern style, it might actually dress up a room.

i've had rugs on the mind lately too! i need one for a three-seaon porch, a living room and a dining room. i love my hard wood floors but i need to cozy them up just a little bit.
