weekend home {refined in rattan}

This has been a very busy, yet fun, week with not only with work but many social functions, including attending the book launch of the new (and amazing) House Beautiful Kitchens book. It leaves me longing for a weekend retreat with a neutral palette and punctuated with natural rattan pieces...
The newest issue of Chicago Home + Garden is also full of lovely weekend retreats! There was one in particular that I loved, it blended industrial pieces with farmhouse charm, you can see my guest blog post on how to recreate thelook here.

Wonderful palette for a weekends retreat! Since, moving to chicago I have dreamed of a weekend retreat near a lake up north or in Michigan somewhere. Your post gives me inspiration to get serious
