inspired palettes {sophie theallet + chris barrett}

I thought it would be fun to start the year off with a brand spanking new series featuring color palettes inspired by fashion and textile designs. I am actually not quite sure I will ever find (but oh I will try) two talents where their creations work as harmoniously together as those of Chris Barrett and Sophie Theallet. These two bold palettes are full of lovely and contagious energy...

You will definitely have a hard time topping this post. The colours are fantastic. I love the orange dress with that pop of fushia in the belt and what amazing shoes!! The place setting in the second set is really pretty, I think I will do this to add a pop of colour to our white place settings.

What an excellent idea to draw inspiration for interiors from the fashion world. I just did a post like this over at my blog, featuring designer looks and vintage chairs.
