inner voice {paint it!}

I am packing tonight (never the fun part of moving) but trying to focus on the exciting potential of my new space. I am beginning to realize how many pieces of white furniture I own and keep saying in my head "paint it!". These two boldly colored dining room tables are definitely making that urge grow...

So fun, right? I am a bit torn between painting pieces high gloss or matte though, so that is what I will surely occupy my mind wish as I wrap up vases this evening.

Such arrangement is quite suitable for a small apartment, while it is also quite warm. Greetings from China.

What a great idea. I love how the blue really pops against the white chairs. I love old wooden dining tables - it would never have crossed my mind to paint them such a bright colour.

Me too...I am considering painting my dining room chairs though. What did you decide about the finish?

High gloss to keep it shiny and I think easier to clean

These tables are awesome! I think the finish should depend on your chair you're using. I like the high gloss with the wicker like chairs in the second picture, the chair makes the sheen less formal. The matte finish with the white chairs has a more outdoors/greenhouse feel. Love both

love those tables! I am moving to NY in August and am looking for ways to spruce up a very cold, small studio apartment .. those would be great additions. thanks for sharing!
I love how the color is intensified when it stands alone in a neutral room as these tables show.

I love the pink table! It is softly feminine but also bold. It's a nice juxtaposition.

Oh, I would love such a bright piece of furniture! But I'm always afraid I'll get tired of it quicker and want to spend more to change it :(
