double trouble

One beautiful minimalist coffee table can be lovely in the right room but make it two and the look is just divine. Although different sizes (which I love) these coffee tables make a lovely focal point to this simple and contemporary room. However. I think they would be even more dazzling layered over a bold patterned rug.

Either way, I need to have them...

I love this living room design! It feels so light and calm. Hmmm...definitely something to think about...
What a great idea - it adds versatility too - they look great together but could also be pulled apart for a different furniture arrangement or used in different rooms - I love that!

That is one of the only times that more furniture actually makes a room look bigger, haha.

Gorgeous space and tables!
But you are so right about this room needing a fabulous patterned rug... maybe a zebra print?

There is so much to love here. The window treatments are simple and divine. The styling is spot on, but I do agree, a bold patterned rug would set the whole thing off.

I'm not sure about the patterned rug. One thing I found interesting about this room was there are lots of nickknacks and yet it doesn't look cluttered. I think part of that is the solid rig pulling everything together.

Either way, beautiful room, very artsy - sort of gives me chills as it reminds me of my late grandmother's living room. Don't take that the wrong way, my grandmother was the epitome of fine artistic modern taste.
You're right...two is better than one and a bold patterned rug would be perfection!

I am in the midst of re-decorating our house and the most important thing I have learnt so far is that it is all about scale. I put an old rug down in a small living space and it worked beautifully because it somehow 'fits':):) Thank you for sharing these lovely ideas.

I'm smiling because I have an entire post planned on pairs of coffee tables. The homes in Nuevo Estilo often feature paired coffee tables. Love the idea! Just wish I had the space for 2.

The colors in this room are absolute perfection! So divine.
Love them, I totally agree a brighter rug would make it that much better!

Have a good day!
