Having just moved into a new place I am getting this feeling that I have to fill every single empty space and fall sin to over decorating. Thankfully I came across this show stopping home designed by Chloe Warner that made me feel better about leaving walls without huge mirrors or pieces of art and not filling up empty spaces for the sake of it. Simple balanced style is best and allows style defining pieces, such as a fabulous wallpaper, an exotic light fixture or a standout piece of furniture to be the star.

I love the painting/ wallpaper in the last pic, it is somewhat of Chinese characteristics. Greetings from China.

SO beautiful! I think I have to copy that living room.
Those lights in the first picture are amazing. I love how they kept them hung high, keeps a lot of volume in the room and still looks polished!

These are beautiful pics!
I'm struggling with the same problem in our new home too. I feel compelled to cover every blank wall. I am beginning to enjoy the open space, thank you for showing me that simple can be a way to go.
I have a vintage dress with a very similar print of that painting/wall paper!

The first and last ones are so beautiful. Sometimes leaving a blank wall is the best decorating idea in a space.

I so badly want that accent wall in the last pic. Is there a credit for this image? Is it a mural? Decals? wallpaper?
Great pics, definitely liking the last picture. Inspiring me to create a 3D room with interesting decal or wallpaper over the walls using mydeco.com 3D room planner. (Like the interesting light fixtures in the first picture too!)
Thanks for sharing this!
Amazing!
