eye candy {playful restraint}

It is always fascinating to see the homes of interior design professionals (like the one of Susan Hornbeak Ortiz, owner of Shine by S.H.O.) and see which colors, trends, textures, styles and textiles they choose as they are so immersed in the world on a daily basis. Susan shows great restraint in her home. It is not overdecorated and features unique textures and touches--from the cabinetry details, perfect peacock color palette, studding on furniture and whimsical lighting.

And you can get many of the pieces in her home though her store, Shine by S.H.O.

What a beautiful set of interior. I hope i can get to see personally, something like this in the future. People living in the same city where this Professional designer resides must be very lucky because it's quite easy for them to access the designer's services.

There are only a few great designers in this world and you are lucky if you have one near you.

Thanks for having this posted.
