perfectly mismatched

Mismatching frames making up a collection of art or photographs on a wall has been a trend for some time now. I love when this look is taken to the extreme for an eclectic look but for my own home I prefer just slightly mismatched frames with a common theme in either the subject in or the style of the frame, just like these....

As an aside, how beautiful are the worn fabrics of this rug?

I'm loving this look too. It's still very consistent, but never boring

I've tried to do this before but I can't seem to make it look right! Ah well, it's just nice to see other people do it so perfectly!

Eclectic, full of memories, and a feast for the eyes.

Thanks for the inspirado

Mismatched frames seem to work better than when everything is too straight.
