color pops {rust}

I think using complementary colors in a home is great way to make a statement and rust orange and blue has long been my favorite. I also happen to love the statement that rusts makes on its own as well which is why I was draw to the sparing use of it in this home.
Any how fun is that leaning door?

So many wonderful colour combinations that spark a thousand emotions...but pale blue and that rusty orange will always be an absolute favourite of mine. Just the little touch of cushion in the second image is all it takes to make the space say "alive".

Lovely spaces... I definitely agree that using complimentary colors is a great way to add interest and I love the light blues and bold burnt oranges together. Beautiful design indeed!

I have things in reverse order.
I have so many colors layered in stripes and patterns, that the dark rust on the wall hold it all down and grounded, and keeps us all from running around.

Cheers!

I am right there with you, sister. I am growing to love orange and blue more and more. And if I could have that door in my home, I'd be a happy girl.

I'm sure my husband will agree with you about rust orange and blue colors in a room. He's very keen in choosing complementary colors, especially when space, functionality and modernity should be considered in a design. He loves the design of an office space (Atlanta
area) or office space (Charlotte area) offices. For our home office project, his inspiration includes a design with light colors with rust orange and blue hues.
