november styling {owls}

I cannot believe that it is November and that the weekend of All Hollows Eve has ended. I am really hoping that my pumpkin keeps for a while, as it is carved with an owl, and I have a mild obsession with anything that hoots. Maybe I will just have to find some owl décor that keeps through the year. Possibly a small statue for my coffee table.....

Or an adorable yet simple print...

You should check out High Street Market on Etsy. She has a few amazing things right now with owls - I just bought the cutest owl trivet. There was also a painting and some statues as well as some other things.

Thanks for the sophisticated, subtle examples - I've seen owls all over lately, but mostly plump ceramics in retro colors, or cartoonish versions printed on fabric. These pieces could stay in a room for years!

I'm hopefully just about to purchase a yellow settee like the one in the second picture- fingers crossed! I have so many things on my Nov. list, I wouldn't know where to start- first thing up is some hallway wallpaper and an upholstery job on a pair of chairs-I can't believe it is already November- time flies!!
I'm loving the owls too- a little owl statue in the house feels like having something wise watching over it:) Have a great week!

The best part about November in my neck of the woods are the owls. You can hear them late at night while you are lying in bed...love them....nice post..K

wow, i love both of these images... loving that second one with the bright yellow. I have a lot of grey in my room and want to add a color like that for a nice pop!

Yes owls are so cute. Growing up in Sweden we were surrounded by lovely owls in our forests.
Though they have declined a little on the scale of trends, I am still very into them!
