This weekend I think I went through over 15 logs in my wood stove-- 'tis that time of year. I do not have enough space to stack my wood inside so each fire leads to a snowy adventure on to my deck. However, I do love these indoor log storage solutions...
Goodness, I do miss that stack. The gas fire we have does the trick, but leave the room flat. I tend to light an incense stick just to get some scent movement in the space.
Just gorgeous - but especially wonderful is the image with the logs under the staircase. Very beautiful. I have just cleaned out my fireplace and filled it with creamy white paperbark shards for summer!
I live in the very temperate city of Auckland, so if I was ever to do this people would certainly look askance - still, I can't help but love the look of logs.

It looks so cosy and warm to decorate with log! Plus the images you have selected are great - love every single one.
Oh how I wish I had a fireplace! The first photo is probably my favorite - such an artful and organized way to keep all that firewood handy. Thanks for sharing!

We usually store our logs outside but this has given me some inspiration to bring them in!
