I had a client this week that wanted this same look. I chose variations of beige - from off white to subtle creams. It was hard to convey that unless you had a light color (Cloud White SW) the darker shades of beige couldn't be appreciated. Otherwise her home would look like the same color throughout. How does such a simple concept get so misunderstood? One may never know :-)

Love the first image - the mirror really adds a clever layer to the space, reflecting the fabulousness. This colour combination is so elegant, I agree, but I think it almost always needs just a touch of black (as in all your images) to lift it to sophistication.

Hello Blair! Just stumbled upon your blog and this photos caught my attention, as I personally LOVE this color combo. What I also like about cream and caramel is that they can be combined with many other colors, if one wants to add a spice of color, you know?
