loving {cool white dining rooms}

If I didn't love Italian cuisine (particularly anything with red sauce) so much I would most certainly have a cool white dining area. Here are just two reasons why...

You CAN have children, eat pasta with red sauce and still have a white dining room (or kitchen). The key is to pick the right materials for your surfaces and upholstery. Easy to clean furniture (no rough wood) and floor, cleanable ultrasuede or modern faux leather (very trendy and not the 50s diner style) make it possible. And even with my two (three including my husband) messy boys, I prefer white table linens; linen gets better and better after repeated washing. Be brave, try it!
