lighten up {pale wood + pastels}

Whether whitewashed or bleached I am finding quite the soft spot for the lightened up look these treatments give woodwork. I especially love when they are paired with soft pastels to create the perfect cozy hideaway...which I would love on this very snowy day!

The first picture kind of reminds me of Zvelda, that Russian film. All these rooms just make you want to NOT work.
