subtle + subdued {seaside}

Beach themed interiors can very easily be over the top. I definitley prefer a more subtle and neutral nod to this motif and these bedrooms accomplish that perfectly.

The sandy inspired colors, well used shell adornment and driftwood touches create a serene seaside retreat.

Lovely and soothing,I have a post up right now called a room with a view and it is all rooms with an ocean view. Love the ocean and anything to remind me of it. These are all great images, Kathysue

The rooms are very tastefully done. It is very nuanced in the sense that one would have to take a closer look to realize that there is a seaside theme. The different hues of creme are delectable.

I know what you mean, It is hard to get a beach feel without it seeming themey. These are great.

I am so glad that I found your blog! I agree - beach rental houses tend to be over the top with aqua colors and fish decor. This evokes the beach and is simply beautiful.
