color pop {mandarin}

I love the energy that bold mandarin orange injects into a space but it can also be overwhelming. This home by Atelier AM features it in the perfect way--just the right pop grounded by the neutral and rustic elements.

Definitely also a home I would love to be om vacation in right now, especially since there are thunderstorms in the weather forecast!

You are right about orange. It can surely be overwhelming but in these photographs the amount is just right. What an unusual cage lamp above the table. It must shed some interesting light!
wow...that first picture is total harmony. i love it!

That is beautiful... I really like the 'splash' of Mandarin in those rooms! It has been used perfectly, mixed with the natural textures and tones.

Okay, so I want to be there right now! And if I can't be then, I'll take the coffee table, along with a room big enough to accommodate it. :-)

Love orange...it brings peace and zen...reminder of the orange buddhist robes...of Christo's gates..great accent color
It's interesting colour scheme and look really nice. I had a post with similar colour scheme (black & yellow) not long ago. They're very rich & chic.
If you get a chance, swing by and say hi. I would love to hear your comments.

Lovely. I've never thought of this color before as an accent, but now it's definitely on my radar!

YES! One of my all time fave colors, I can just wrap myself in it, so happy, so neutral, for me, and so fresh,never gets old, I plan on mixing it with bright blue and pale green in my dining room!

Nice plop of color for a tastefully decorated area.

Orange is a great color when used in moderation. It goes especially well with Chinoiserie-themed decors.. you can pick a nice contemporary Chinese art print to bring out the flavor.
