plaid backsplash

I love unique black splashes in a kitchen--such as this plaid patterned coral and slate one in the kitchen of designer Jay Jeffers.

And such a fun color combination too!

I too love unique back splashes. My new kitchen comes with an all white backsplash, but with a neat texture that adds tons of personality to the kitchen.

This plaid pattern is very cool - maybe next home I buy...

Now that is different.. I would wonder how it would handle splatters from the stove? like oil from cooking? or sauces?

It is a very 60's detail and yet the colorway makes it come out perfectly NOW. And it's mosaic (maybe Bisazza?) which makes the whole thing really stunning. Without the paint colors and the backsplash it is a very "normal kitchen, if very well crafted, which is the ideal inspiration for a blah kitchen makeover. bravo. merci

I'm not a fan of plaid, but this is such an original idea! I wonder if they created the design from scratch or if it comes in sheets of mosaic?

The back splash is amazing on its own, but I love it even more with the high gloss inserts on the upper cabinets.
