event inspiration {simple twist on a classic}

I was trying to think of a unique but traditional Thanksgiving palette and thought that pink was the perfect color to inject in order to lighten up the traditional pumpkin and brown combo.

Are you adding a fun decor or color twist to this years Thansgiving table!?

As a Canadian, I have to speak in past tense having already celebrated Thanksgiving... we used quite a bit of green in our centerpiece and foliage this year (probably more than the “traditional” Thanksgiving palette would entail). It was lovely and as we celebrate Thanksgiving in October and the season is still early, it worked quite nicely.

I do love the pops of pink that you’ve used here; it really creates a lovely spread of fall tones.

I love the invites and the bowl with the lollipops -- what a cool idea. Might have to nick it for my own thanksgiving dinner/next party!
