craving {sleeping porch}

Despite the fact that it is freezing out and snowed all day I am craving a screened in sleeping porch. I have always loved porches but just recently decided that I wanted one that I could spend not only all day in but all night! It would just be so nice to feel as though I am sleeping outdoors without the hassle of the bug bites but with the same spectacular view of the stars.

Is there a room or addition that you are craving at the moment?

These are great spaces! I can see why you would be craving a room like this. How cool you have snow right now. Sounds lovely!

when I was a kid we used to spend the summers in Maine in a house with a sleeping porch. All the kids would pile in there, listen to the ocean in the distance, giggle and tell ghost stories. It was wonderful.

Wow - these are fantastic. I have never seen one in person (which is most likely a good thing as I don't think I'd ever leave).

The addition I'm crrently craving: my couch which is on its way (after being backordered since October).

I actually am craving a green house, with a cosy little seating area inside.

we had one but had it made into a room. our house is small and we needed the extra space. every once in awhile I crave it again.

A little private corner to relax and refresh - sounds just blissful. I'd spend the whole weekend there with a good book and way too many cups of tea.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Yes, I would love to have a sleeping porch but right now what I am craving is a fireplace, sadly we don't have one...

this is so quaint. love your blog
Love those porches. I have a sleeping porch but sadly never sleep out there. These photos make me want to reconsider. Right now I am craving a working fireplace as mine is not.

I actually went to a boarding school, Foxcroft, where they still have sleeping porches. Today, the screens have been replaced by windows, but they are wonderful!
