craving {deep pile morrocan rugs}

When it comes to choosing a rug there is so much to consider--from durability, color to comfort. For me comfort is paramount, especially in the winter months, and there is a rug that is not only cozy on the feet but the perfect canvas and first layer of any room, no matter what the style or color palette. That rug is the popular deep pile Moroccan rug.

Wool is to-die-for. (Especially if it's the first thing your feet touch when you get out of bed). I also look for something that is easy to vacuum dog hair.

PS: Callie, soft silk wool sounds amazing. I need to find one.

I can't decide on one! But something soft that's not too piled... the fluffs that come off those rugs is a vacuuming nightmare, lol.

Blair, Im so in love an obsessed with this rug too!!!! Nate berkus is selling this exact one on HSN, but the reviews said it shed a ton, so I held off from buying it. But its $500 for an 8x10, great price!! Im still thinking about it!

Oh, that is a great price. And shedding or not I would just so love one in my bedroom--the hardwood is really unpleasant with all the cold mornings we have been having!

Looks so lovely. I love the pattern, it's not too bright but it still pops.

I have the Pottery Barn Tangier rug- they still sell them on ebay. But caution- it sheds! But super duper lush and soft!
