simple sunday {mantles}

The season for gathering around the fireplace has begun and I love simple casual styling for the fireplace area. I am especially smitten with uncluttered mantles with just one perfectly casual leaning piece of art.

Also, loving the overall casual and cozy feeling of these rooms. All the perfect places to spend a relaxing Sunday!

Loving these, and wishing that I had a fireplace with a mantle here. Someday! The placement of art in the second photo is perfection!
Nice choices of pics! Yes, simple mantels are much more soothing to me than ornate ones. Maybe I'll have a fire tonight!

I have a strange obsession with driftwood: I’ve always collected it as a child and an adult. I love how it is used in the last photo paired with the gorgeous painting.

I stare at my stark white mantle every day and often wonder what would look best. These examples are both chic and smart without being cluttered. I dig this look.
