wednesday window seats

It is yet another dreary day here and all I want to do to do is curl up in cozy window seat watch the rain and catch up on some reading. Any of these nooks would be quite the lovely spot to do just that!

I feel like I could just move in! I would just take up a little corner, I wouldn't be a bother, I promise. I could even bring a pot of tea and some spice cookies to share :)
Oh, Blair! I've been drafting a window seat post, too! (I had the second and fourth one in my files) I've been wanting one for such a long time. They are just so inviting, aren't they? I love that first one - so adorable!

I love that kitchen with the checkered floor. I put a floor like that in my house and that striped fabric and green pop of color look wonderful with it. Thanks for sharing!

How inviting and gorgeous! I want these to be my home!
I was looking at a magazine last night and told my husband- I really want a window seat one day!
These do look so cozy and inviting. I would love to have a nook like this in my future home.

I have jammed my writing desk right up against the front window with an upright chair for writing/typing on on side and a lounge/club chair for reading on the other, so that I can keep my neighborhood in full view, no matter which I choose to do.
Though, a bench might do me better.
