sustainable saturday [stray dog designs]

I first saw the work of stray dog designs at anthropologie and instantly fell in love with their charming and colorful (thanks to low VOC paint) papier mache creations. The pieces are all handmade using recycled materials. They also have lovely recycled glass, iron and tin lines.

I just love the color options and whimsy of the pieces. All quite perfect for a beach house, don't you think? Oh and did I mention that a portion of the purchase price is donated to animal welfare groups?

Love these, especially that white lamp that looks like it's on a giant white artichoke/pinecone(?) The colors are great too! And since I live at the beach, I think I really need a few of these...

I LOVE their stuff and the pieces you chose are definitely some of my favorites--especially that pineapple lamp!! I didn't know that a portion of their purchase price was donated to animal welfare groups! I like that.
