sustainable saturday [eco-ganik]


I am quite excited about an eco friendly and very feminine clothing line that I recently came across, eco-ganik. They have hit a unique chord by catering to both the the fashion forward as well as eco-conscious consumer. All of their pieces are made out of 100% organic cotton, made in the USA, use only the lowest impact dyes and are modestly priced.

lovely pieces. i have a few organic pieces and have been trying to add more, especially kids clothes as I love the feel.

i do not own anything organic to my knowledge. but i'm hoping the price of organic clothing comes down a bit, as most of what i've seen out there is not within my budget.

i'm really liking that first shirt/skirt combo. i'm not sure i own any organic clothing (i know i've gotten small things here and there) but as the availability of organic clothing increases, i'm hoping to find more affordable pieces.

To be honest, I don't know if I do. I have never really thought about clothing from an ecological standpoint - only food, papergoods and my rubbish. Thanks for this, it's really made me think about it for the next time I buy new clothes.
