spring fling

One of my best friends in college always had a "spring fling" day when the weather started to truly feel like spring. She would skip her classes and enjoy all that spring had to offer in our very small college town and the surrounding areas. It is safe to say that frozen yogurt and a perfect spring dress were part of the mix. Although it is not quite time for a spring fling day here in Jackson--a girl has to prepare and when it comes to the perfect outfit for such a day I think Thread Social is the perfect label for the job. Some of the possible (well, in my dreams) ensemble for a day of frolicking:

And then there are their spring accessories adorned with one of my favorite symbols of spring, the tulip:

Do you have any spring rituals?

these are so cute! i love that lil yellow dress at the top. i'm on a mission for all things yellow - most specifically, as of late, i've been dying to find a sweet pair of yellow shoes for work.

not any kind of yellow - juuust the right shade, you know?

anyhow - my spring ritual includes going to a gardening show (which i'll be posting about tomorrow morning), going shopping to freshen up my spring wardrobe, and go for a hike in the valley near my place.

I'm totally on the 'yellow' kick, too, and for that reason I heart the top dress. The tulip belts are adorable.

I'm looking forward to creating Spring rituals with my family of three. So far, our rituals include lovely evening walks with our pup.

Love those dresses. Not sure I could carry off a yellow dress but they look fabulous. Love those tulips too. I should be spring cleaning in spring - but unfortunately it's an all year round project which never goes anywhere!

I'm so obsessed with that stripey dress! I've been staring at it on Net-a-Porter for a while now. Sigh.

Spring rituals? They mostly involve ice cream.

I've got my eye on some summer-y dresses as well. I'm sure it will be one of my first purchases as soon as we wriggle some room in the budget for some new clothes. So fun to look at though!

I love these dresses, now all we need is some sun for many reasons. The main one being that my body is the color of snow and shouldn't be allowed to enter the public eye without some color on it. Otherwise I would have those dresses on in a heartbeat!
