Sunday Reading {The New Traditional}

This afternoon I finally found some quiet time to start reading the book The New Traditional by Darryl Carter and I am just in love. During a time when the world seems so overwhelming and complicated the simplicity and grace of the interiors he creates seem perfect. He helps lead the way to finding that elusive balance between having a comfortable and elegant home. If only I could learn to edit quite so well.

If I could learn to choose whites and greys that still stay so warm.

Ooh I saw this book at the store and came so close to buying it. Now I'm kicking myself that I didn't! Love his style.

there's something about that first space that i love. i'm not sure what it is. it doesn't even look necessarily comfortable, but i like it a lot.

hmmmm . . . i don't have that book. this is one i definitely need to check out—especially if you and Anne are highly recommending it!

i just need a bigger house for all my books. any chapters about books/storage solutions in that book? :)
