jam drops

Ok, I mentioned my upcoming cookie exchange a few weeks ago and tonight is the night that I put on my apron and bake up a storm. I was planning on making these little chocolate mice cookies that a friends aunt sent me but I was just told that I had to do a non chocolate one! I was quite bummed until I found the blog a dash of cinnamon (via swish and swanky) and I am going to make these jam drop cookies. Don't they just look scrumptious:

According to the author, Jen, they are simple to make which is key! I will report back later to see if I was able to conquer my fear of high altitude baking and if I am able to make them look half as good as she did. Wish me luck!

They look delicious. Good luck. A night of baking does sound fun. Perhaps I'll squeeze one in sometime this week.

I can't believe chocolate was banned. I've never heard such a thing!

Good luck, although i'm sure you won't need it. They're so easy to make :)

Oh no! I am whipping up fudge and truffles for holiday gifts so I can't imagine being banned from chocolate. These jam cookies look lovely though, I know you'll be able to pull it off. Let us know how they turn out :)

They turned out amazingly well! Even my chocolate loving boyfriend couldn't stop nibbling on them:) The hardest part was converting grams to cups! They don't look quite as good as Jen's but I will definitley make these again.
