ornament inventory

I was sorting through all my Christmas ornaments today to see how many had mysteriously broken over the year and realized that 95% of my ornaments are glass. I think having non-breakable ornaments really adds a ton of character to a tree and I think these adorable handmade wool ornaments from Anthropologie would be the perfect addition to my collection:

I especially love the little elephant. These are also probably a smart choice for anyone else that has dogs with very active tails. Oh, it is taking all my strength not to go buy a tree to decorate today!

They do have a ton of cute ornaments this year. And I think I really appreciate non-breakable ornaments more and more with a three year old on the loose.
Thanks for the cute idea. :)

Those are really sweet ornaments. And the dogs are always a bit of a worry with the Christmas tree; every year, I get a bit nervous that one of them- ok, mostly the 80lb'er- will cause the tree to bite the dust. So far, so good, but fingers-crossed and knock-on-wood!

I agree that the fragile ornaments look beautiful especially when the tree is lit! I just love having some non breakable ornaments that add a little interest and look as though they may have story.

Courtney, my fingers are crossed for you too!:)
