simple [bedside] styling

Ever since I admired this room I have had simple and lovely bedside table styling on my mind. From oversize rustic lanterns...

to a casual pile of books under a simple floral arrangement...

or maybe no bedside table at all and just a birdcage (still loving them!)...

organic styling....

art hanging above the bedside table (like the one I originally loved)...

And lastly one I will never tire of--the perfectly casual bedside of rita konig.

What is on your bedside table? Mine currently is home to a simple and traditional lamp, a calypso-celle candle and a stack of the most recent interior design mags.

Mine just has "Are You There Vodka, It's Me Chelsea". I didn't know it before I read this post, but I'm embarrassed of my bedside table! I haven't given much thought to it!

Love all of the white in these pictures. As for my bed side table:

1.Yankee Candle (Harvest - if you have not tried it I would recommend it a 100%)

2.A mug from Anthropolgie with my initial on it

3. Two books

That last pic is one of my favourites - such a wonderful space & I think you wouldn't have to leave bed all day what with the coffee plunger, food, books and papers all at hand. Gorgeous!

Fun post! My nightstand is stacked with a couple of design books, a cool bowl from Anthro that holds some of my jewelry plus vitamins so I don't forget to take them. Nothing too exciting!

My bedside table is a mess. I'm searching for some clean-lined modern ones to accent our antique-ish bed. The peacock mirror in the top photo is so gorgeous!

To be completely honest, I have more stuff IN my bedside table, than actually on it. So much stuff in fact that I can barely open the drawers - I guess a little cleaning is in order! :)

I absolutely love rustic designs. My bedside table is a very old wooden one with white paint chipping off it that's been in my family since before I was born. Right now it has a lamp, my mug, and a few books on it.

I really like all of these options, especially the large lantern.

I am currently searching for the perfect bedside lamp to put on my table. Currently, a pike of magazines, a novel I just can't get into, and a note pad for the "lists of lists" I seem to come up with right before I drift off to sleep. (I swear this is when I come up with my best ideas).

My bed side table is a lovely provencal style one and right now it has a french lamp, two books, my lip balm and my mug.

Great picks, Blair! I love all of the options you have chosen. Currently, on my (make shift) bedside table - I'm in the middle of a move - there is a pile of magazines, my current book and a vase of flowers.

Once we move, the pile of magazines will be replaced with a lamp.
