I just got home from throwing a dinner party for 50 and was lucky enough to work in a home that had a perfect kitchen for staging. It was a very simple but incredibly functional one and it really got me thinking that sometimes the simple kitchens really are best and left me longing for anyone of these...

(via bo bedre, marie claire maison, skona hem, veranda)Be back later tomorrow once I recoup! Hope you all had a wonderful Wednesday.

Oh I love all of these! I can't pick my fave- they are so lovely :) xoxo
i've been delighted by design. love 'em all.
A dinner party for 50? go you! i'm glad that the kitchen was good for it---otherwise it could have been a total nightmare (i've been there! i sympathize!)
these are all great! I love how light and airy they all are and the natural wood in combination with the white colour. just lovely!
How fun! I can not even imagine what it would be like to throw a dinner party for 50! How fun! Love your inspiration. Especially that last one. Swoon!
I love the idea of a table in the middle of the room for extra work space.
Oh, that last one with the white and green... I love it!
i want to hear more about the party! rest up:)
A perfect kitchen is one that is always open, a sink, some dishes, a table and just an open heart to prepare for a feast. Love to see your work....
Take a look at "Sunday Suppers" they are on my blog roll - I think they will inspire you!

I love the "Sunday Suppers" series and they definitley do inspire me--they are all absolutely amazing!
All last night I was trying to remember to take pictures but of course I didn't!
Love all the open storage solutions..., seems to be gaining popularity.
Gorgeous spaces, darling! Love the centerpieces on these tables!
xoxox,

gorgeous!
I love the big wooden table in the first kitchen. It's the good kind of cottage chic.
Love the last kitchen's colors- mmmm plants. I love simple kitchens, they let you rest. (and hopefully cost less...)
I especially love the last kitchen. Light, great wooden island and piece above the window!
uh-oh. are you sick?
it's so funny, because of all these, i would say that that last one is the least "me". yet somehow, it is the one i am the most drawn to. i think it is the color and the lighting of the photo. what a beautiful space.
i have no window in my kitchen, and i really miss that natural light.
Oh yes - my kind of kitchens!
oooh, i love the bottom one with all the plants.
Good post indeed! Thanks for sharing such nice information.
