downright dreamy dining room

I have had rustic elegance on my mind, as I have been working on a event inspiration board that embraces this style (check back tomorrow morning!) and this dining room would be the perfect way to translate the look into your home. I am just crazy about the mix of the modern chairs with the casual bench and stunning floors--not to mention the perfect table setting and amazing natural light.

That dining room is stunning! I love the size of the table, and the color of the walls. You could use any type of place setting or any colors in there and it would look great. Plus any room with great windows is up there on my list.

Love this! Even though I have modern tables, I dream of a bigger place where I can get a huge rustic table like this...Anyway, some white Tolix chairs are #1 on my list of what's next. I love the way they look outside as well as indoors.

I love the mixture of old and modern, I think this is how we should live together with the past, but still welcome the new. As for dining rooms, I prefer simplicity so that I can concentrate only on food :-)

That tablescape is amazing and I'm loving the buttery yellow on the walls! I love contradictions in a dining room. Like a crystal chandelier with a heavy rustic table.
