a [beautiful] mess

It has been a very long and tiring day and the last thing I want to do right now is clean up the house. It would just be so nice if the haphazard clutter on my table, desk and dresser tops effortlessly looked this good!

Is "lovely mess" an oxymoron? Either way: my tables, drawers, and counter tops never look this nice.

Have a bubblebath and a glass of wine. [That always helps when I've had a long day].

The really funny thing is that the stylist on location most likely took quite a while to achieve the perfectly beautiful mess you see! Great images.

I am an organizational freak and always make sure everything has a home and is in its home. However, oddly enough I love meaningful clutter. Little trinkets and nick-knack. It's my way of keeping my compulsiveness from making my house look like a museum. This photos are great messy inspiration!
