Breakfast Nook

Loving this very fun black and white breakfast nook from the February 2009 Domino tour of Mary McDonald's home. I especially am drawn to the numbered plates on the wall and the fun array of pillows. Truly a great mix of patterns that although are all strong work quite well together.

I agree- I love this breakfast nook- the mix of patterns, the banquette, the table- everything about it makes me smile! I really was smitten with pretty much some element from every room of her home!

this photo shoot was definitely the highlight of this month's domino! (in fact I was a little disappointed with the other stories as a whole). but not this one! so sharp, but really liveable too. LOVE! and hope you had a breather this evening :)
