perennial virant

I was just answering some questions for an upcoming editorial piece about my favorite places in Chicago and one place that kept popping up in my head was Perennial Virant, a newer restaurant in Chicago's Lincoln Park. Not only is the food incredible, but the decor of the space, as well that of the adjacent hotel is pretty darn inspiring..

that rich leather chair is screaming my name.
and i love those old drawers put together!

xo the egg out west.
Love this! Reminds me of a restaurant I came across when I was doing research for project designing a bluegrass inspired restaurant, Ella Dining Room and Bar in Sacramento, CA. I've never been there, but it has that mix of rustic and elegant.

Thanks,
Genevieve
