{vintage} summer romance

When it comes to setting a romantic mood for an event (whether an intimate dinner party or casual wedding) soft colors, loosely arranged florals and a little bit of vintage flair can go along way...

Oh this is so dreamy Blair! So beautiful! I just did a little inspiration board for my own wedding with a similar theme to this. My first wish was for a casual country wedding but unfortunately it didnt pan out :(. I'm saving this in my scrapbook!

PS Love the horse looking out at the beautiful dining spread!

Gorgeous post! For some reason the bicycle picture with the lights caught my attention and I really, really like it! What a cute way to incorporate nostalgia with new beginnings!

Hope you had a lovely day :)

so gorgeous - i agree about the shot with the vintage bike and lights. so sweet!

i don't have any mind-blowingly wonderful tips to pretty up things, but my current favourite thing is to tie the stems wild lilacs together and place them in water in a vintage china teapot as a cute lil centrepiece.

what can i say? i like to fancy myself channelling my inner martha.
