cheap(er) chic: shocking pink

Shocking pink was my favorite color as a young girl but I definitely grew out of it for a while and it is now back at the top of my list! Funny how things can change. Some of my favorite cheap(er) chic shocking pink picks...

prada flats ($169), banana republic earrings ($49), kate spade cosmetic pouch ($55), donna karan dress (50% off), anthropologie switch plate ($24), jennifer oullette headband ($49), anthropologie tumbler ($6 each), tory burch thong sandal ($115)
Do you have a color that you have changed your opinion on?

Nothing makes me feel more feminine than wearing a little something pink. That dress would be perfect for date night with my husband while I could easily jaunt about town with the children in the sandals.

Now to win the lottery and buy everything...

Georgia, Your comment yesterday definitley made me think of pink:)
yum yum! i will never get enough of this color, I think---even though I don't own a single thing in this shade! perhaps an anthro switchplate or two will have to remedy that...?

That's so funny, I felt the same way about pink. I think there was a decade there that I couldn't like pink because then I would be considered a girly-girl, and that, for some reason, was a bad thing. I don't think that now :)

I am enthralled with the line down the middle:
The chandelier earrings
the Light switch plate...and
the carve tumbler.

I am such a sucker for shocking pink even though it makes me feel really young when I wear it. Maybe I should stick to small decor items like that lovely light switch. :)
