touches of teal

Ok, as promised I am breaking the neutral trend of my posts with a color that I think has gotten a bad rap but that I happen to be quite fond of. And that color is teal. It adds such fun and lighthearted touch to any space. I can't help but smile when I see it used.

Do you agree that this color deserves more consideration than just that of a bad bridesmaid dress?

Yes, I love teal and any variation thereof: turquoise, aqua, etc. It is actually a dominant color on my inspiration board right now.

I need to embrace it bc it's my daughter's color of choice at them moment. She wants her walls painted a dark teal/turquoise-y color, similar to that bedroom picture. I'm loving that green printed sofa though!

Definately! When it's used right, it is, indeed, breathtaking!
One of my FAVORITE colors!

I love blues in a room. I'm currently stuck on robin's egg blue but teal might be just the thing to change my mind.

I just love teal! That second image is perfection.
Most definitely! It's one of the other colors besides yellow that always makes me smile! Maybe it's the name that "dates" it - what would JCrew call it? Pool? Azuline?

Love that second photo! The wallpaper looks great with just white and black paired with it. Very pretty!
Teal is one of my favorites, so long as it isn't used in a tacky way. I adore the wallpaper in the second photo.

I love teal. We are going to paint our guest bathroom "Tantalizing Teal" and put black and white towels, shower curtain and accessories with it.

I love how the living room had a teal wall and an asparagus type green couch. Most people would not think to put those colors together.
Definitely yes! I'm not sure I could be so bold, but I love that kitchen and the living room. It's bright and intense, but it has a grounding effect too. Lovely!

Actually, teal is one of my all time favorite colors!! I'm looking for an ornate frame to go in our bedroom to paint teal. I love it!

This colour deserves praise and more! It is so vibrant, bold and fun, yet also can be very soothing. I have always loved it and will continue to defy trends with it. Teal is alive and is here to stay :)

I happen to love teal! My bedroom walls are painted in a shade very similar to it. Some people may thinks it's a little bold or overwhelming but I always feel refreshed and inspired when I wake up in the morning :)

For some reason I've always been kind of scared of this color. I have no idea why because these rooms are gorgeous. That first photo is especially stunning.
