designer spotlight [caitlin moran]

I love finding new (to at least me!) designers and was so happy to have found a new favorite when a friend of mine had joined the facebook group for Found, a new shop in San Fransisco full of 'rediscovered objects'. Not only is the shop wonderful but one the two owners, Caitlin Moran, happens to be a very talented and promising interior designer. Just a little taste of her portfolio...

She just has such a fun but also quite elegant style! And how beautiful are the moldings in that first space? I know that I will be adding the blog for her well curated store to my reading list.

that first photo - i dont know if its a gate or what but I LOVE it. so beautiful and used in such a perfect way.
I'm in love with that corner in the second to last photo. The wallpaper, the collection of photos, the mirror, all the accessories - it's all so perfect. I
I agree, so elegant. Usually I don't love overwhelming use of the same color, but the last room is putting a smile on my face.
What a great find; I love discovering new designers. Thank you for sharing this post I will definitely be adding Caitlin Moran to my collection of faves!!

This is absolutely spectacular! And I love that the store is just a quick drive from here. Next time I'm in the city, I'm definitely going to stop by! There's not a single room here that I don't love.

These rooms are gorgeous. That floral wallpaper? To die for!
Wow so pretty. I have seen the office shot before, but I had totally forgotten about it. Thanks for the reminder. I won't be forgetting again.

i love that these photos feel "real" (if that makes sense) like someone actually could live there as opposed to it being too stuffy. very pretty.

The purple paper is fun. If I were to see it on a roll I wouldn't give it a second look, but it does look neat on the wall. xoxo

Even though the room in the last two pictures is a bit OTT for my taste, I'm really drawn to it. I really like the layers of pattern and texture -- like the framed pictures and the purple curtains against the flowered wallpaper. I also really like the purple & green colour combo. And that bench in front of the desk is awesome!!

Maybe it all works for me because I love purple :-)

These are amazing. My favorite rooms are ones that look great, but are completely able to be lived in as well. Perfect balance!
