beautiful bolero

I am insanely busy at the office today but during a fleeting moment of procrastination I came across this stunningly beautiful bolero and just had to share! I have never sported a bolero, as I always thought I wouldn't be capable of pulling it off. However, I wouldn't give a second thought to covering my shoulders in these lovely silk taffeta ruffles from elizabeth dye.

Not only does this lovely piece come in ivory but in custom colors upon request-making it perfect for both the most formal and casual affairs. I am thinking that I would love one in ink blue (I have this color on the brain, as I am working on a ink blue wedding board)! What about you?

I love all of Elizabeth Dye's pieces, but this one is particularly lovely. Those ruffles!

It IS a lovely bolero, but don't you think it's appeal is linked to the equally lovely eyelet lace bodice? The two fabric textures & colours, coupled with the simple line of the boddace and the sweet ruffles of the bolero are - to me -what "make" this beautiful look!
This outfit is SO exquisite! Both the bolero and the top! Lovely!

The texture of that photo is exquisite. from her hair to the bolero to the wallpaper. I would buy that bolero in a second if I wasn't built like a linebacker.

beautiful. i like it in ivory. it's all about the design with this piece, so i think i'd prefer a mute color.

I love boleros so much, I have a couple coming out in my new line. I think they are a great alternative to sweaters and jackets--something fun to liven things up a little.

Ink blue sounds wonderful!

Was looking at this very same bolero today as well and very nearly purchased it. Completely lovely.

I really enjoy this piece in ivory but I'd be into checking it out in other colours. I wonder how a dark black or navy would work. It would be a completely different look.

Blair, I don't know if I've said it already but I love the new look.
